I am sure that many will disagree with me on this point, but despite the nostalgia that some have attached to this map it is absolutely terrible. Not only does it encourage one dimensional play centered around three base death balling, but its unorthodox structure will make it impossible to successfully balance.
I totally agree walkatnight.
The craziness is cool! Unfortunately the coolness effect will only last for a few weeks… then imbalance and boring gameplay will haunt us.
It’s also a huge gamble. Say you rush out an obs to scout and you find out with it he went 3 CC before rax, then you’re way behind. Say you go go for a very greedy expo and not that get obs, voilla, 2 port banshee on 1 base kills you. Reapers can also actually traverse over the cliffs and you have no way of scouting they are coming until they are already in killing your workers.
